Reno Plumbing Doctor is owned and operated by Mark & Jeri Hardy and are grateful to be a part of the Plumbing Doctor franchise. The owner of Plumbing Doctor started out with a desire to bring a positive outlook back to the plumbing industry, an outlook that had been lost by those in the field that were only in it for the almighty dollar. He created the upfront pricing manual so that our customers can see and approve of the cost for their service before we even begin any of the work. There are never any "hidden" costs. Mark has been in the plumbing industry since 1979 and is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of the field. Jeri, along with their son Devin, does all administrative things that need to be done to keep the company running. We all put in long hours in order to provide our customers with the dedication that they so deserve. We are honest people, providing an honest service.
When someone calls needing service to their water heater we do our best to repair the unit. However if the unit is too old and will leave you to throw good money after bad we will then discuss other options.
If we get a call asking for a water heater replacement we will discuss water heater options, there are a wide variety of choices on the market today for which we are highly qualified to offer you informed information and install them when requested.
We have been repairing water heaters since 1979 so you have come to the right place. When called we will come out and try to solve your water heater issue. Water heaters are one of the most important appliances that you have in your home or business and can consume most of the energy out of all your appliances. When your water heater fails or springs a leak you can depend on Reno Plumbing Doctor to repair or replace the unit. We carry repair parts for most of the major brands in stock on our service trucks and can have the water heater up and running in no time.
In Nevada, water heaters traditionally have been the tank type. Also called storage water heaters, these consist of a cylindrical vessel or container that keeps water continuously hot and ready to use. Typical sizes for household use range from 40 to 75 US gallons. These may use natural gas, propane or heated by electricity. These water heaters have an averaged life span of 8 to 12 years. As the water tank ages the steel tank will rust and leak which could cause damage to your home or business. Most home owners don’t notice their water heater until they have a problem. At Reno Plumbing Doctor we can supply and install a new water heater to fit your needs and have it in the same day of your service. We can also provide an extended warranty on any water heater we install.
Water heaters are generally located far away from fixtures like showers and faucets. A lot of water and energy is wasted before the hot water arrives at the spout. Hot water circulation systems prevent this loss by using small motors to bring hot water to the source. They can drastically cut down heating costs and have other benefits too, like reducing wear on your plumbing system.
There are many benefits to having a water treatment system. First off clean healthy refreshing water for the whole house. The system also significantly reduces hard water build up which will prolong the life of your plumbing fixtures and appliances. Your skin and hair will feel cleaner and softer. You will use less detergent when doing laundry and it would come out whiter. Removes harmful chlorine and contaminents and retains desired minerals your body needs. These are just a few of the many benefits that come with a water treatment system
This outfit provides top-notch, honest service. Mark, the owner, is professional and to the point. No unnecessary work or attempts to mislead the work that can be done, or the cost thereof. I was very impressed with the efficiency and expertise that Mark and his assistant exhibited. Prior to their coming to my home, I had an experience with a very dishonest tech from another company who attempted to charge me over five times the cost of repair and wanted to cut pipe to address a clogged bathtub drain. I subsequently called other companies in town, and none of them seemed like they even wanted to perform the work. I landed on Reno Plumbing Doctor, and the response I got was solicitous and professional.
We had tried for a week to clear the pipe in our laundry room sink. As we continued to put chemicals in and wait and wait, the washing machine began to drain into the garage. We finally gave up and called a real plumber. Mark is the real deal. He came on time and worked diligently and had the problem resolved in about an hour. Not only was he knowledgeable about what he was doing, he was patient in explaining the process to us as he progressed. Thank you, Mark!
I had a sewer emergency which needed to be repaired, I called in the morning, got ahold of someone very quickly on the phone and had a technician getting it fixed within a few hours. Everything is working like a charm now and I am very happy with their service. Very professional and friendly, explaining every step of what was going on and also showing the pricing model in full transparency. Will definitely use again, great work!
I had a leak under my house where the master bathroom is. The plumber came out on time and crawled under the house and found two more leaks. All the leaks were between the insulation and the subfloor making them tough to get to.he fixed them in a timely fashion. Very courteous and friendly technician. Very professional. Kind of expensive but all plumbers are expensive. Nobody likes going under a house so that's part of the price. After the fix one of my faucets was not working.the technician immediately turned around and came back and fixed the problem. I feel he went above and beyond.he recommended that I get all my old quest pipes replaced because they are known to fail especially as they get older. My house is built in 1986.i would recommend this company to everybody.
From beginning to end of service, this company had exceeded our expectations! We needed our water heater fixed and then eventually replaced, but before that Mark had explained everything that was complicated in our old and faulty water heater. He was very pleasant to deal with, very transparent. Plus, they did extra work that wasn't in the original quote! Talk about going above and beyond! And Junior was such a #PRO, did a clean job, very thorough and definitely cared about giving quality service, worth every penny! I will do business with them again, I highly recommend this company! Thank you guys, satisfied client here with a peace of mind!
I needed a new 75 gallon hot water heater. The quote I got was $400 to $800 cheaper than two other plumbers I called. Dave and his helper did a great job and were very professional. I would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs!
